I'm not sure I believe in New Year's *resolutions* as such: too easy to break. But there's something powerful about a checklist, so I've been thinking about what it might look like to build one for every single day next year.

Here's what I have.

### Every day

Close my Apple Fitness rings.

Go for a walk, even if it's just a mile.

Eat nutritious, plant-heavy food, if possible.

Read a book, even if it's just one page.

Write creatively, even if it's just one sentence.

Communicate with a friend, even if it's just a one-line text.

Tell the people I love that I love them.

Write down at least one thing I'm grateful for.

Write down at least one self-affirmation.

### If I'm at home

Use the rowing machine, even if just for 10 mins.

This does not need a checkbox, but give my buddy the biggest hug.

Get to bed before 11pm.

Nothing bad will happen if I don't do these things. But they're a north star: a way to remind myself of what is important. I'd like them to stick.

If you have something similar, I'd like to read yours.
