# A new place for Elgg users

Developers have had a mailing list for some time to discuss system code ([it's here, if you'd like to join](http://lists.elgg.org/mailman/listinfo/development)) but we're pleased to announce that as of today there's a similar community for users.

[The Elgg users mailing list](http://lists.elgg.org/mailman/listinfo/elgg-users) is for discussion about how you are using Elgg, ways it can be applied within an educational context, lessons you have learnt and wish to share with others and those who have questions about general Elgg usage and would like to harness the growing Elgg community.
