I've spent 15+ years building media technology. At [Latakoo](https://latakoo.com), where I was the first employee and founding CTO, we built the video-gathering platform used by news networks like NBC News. At [Matter Ventures](https://medium.com/matter-driven-narrative/meet-matter-seven-d07f02683108), I supported media startups and helped partners like KQED, PRX, the Associated Press, and the New York Times navigate innovation challenges. And at [The 19th](https://19thnews.org) and [ProPublica](https://propublica.org), I've led technology inside newsrooms themselves.

Now I want to answer your questions about the future of news technology, and about how news works behind the scenes.
