@danlyke It was the final push I needed and I ... damnit
@davidmead I'm away from my desk but have had a few reports today. Worth logging a mailing list message - will be checking it out later.
@danlyke Bond is owned by a holding company in Santa Monica and Bowie lives in New York, so I think they're reaching a little ...
@hondanhon I know for a fact there are. I'm really looking forward to experiencing it.
@jw Probably they think they're doing you a favor by not asking to meet first thing - totally what I'd do. Maybe worth specifying times?
@ahow Feel forward
@jasonlk Again, really good feedback. Thank you.
@jasonlk That's great feedback - so you prefer a SAFE to a note with "best practice" terms?
@jasonlk Is there a situation where you would advocate using a SAFE or a more standard note?
@tinokremer I do think open source is a better model, but it's often incompatible with business realities. Having an "audit source" license would fulfill proprietary needs while allowing us to make sure that the software is fit for purpose.
@tinokremer Yes - but open source comes with the ability to share / reuse. I'd rather that we at least get the ability to audit our cars in particular for safety; I don't see manufacturers allowing that code to be reused or shared any time soon.
