That's a super-great point. I don't think it completely contradicts what he's saying - the Google infrastructure becomes the highly commercialized layer. But it's an interesting omission.
I'm a tech startup guy in favor of the SF tech payroll tax. I'd also like to see much more efficient local government spending.

@adamscrabble There are certainly more regulations, and I didn't enjoy starting a biz in Scotland. But being poor isn't a death sentence.
