Facebook penetration

According to TechCrunch today, 85% of students at supported colleges are members of Facebook. That's massive - 882 US colleges support Facebook, with more to come. Very shortly the vast majority of students will be familiar with social networking software - but more than that, 60% of users log in daily, so they like using it. In fact, they like it so much that one comment on the linked post reads:

I work at a boarding school and it is nearly impossible to keep the kids (girls, predominantly) off of this site when they should be studying or doing their work in class.

Now imagine if you could harness that eagerness to help them do their work ...
