We're really keen for people to try out their own Elgg installations, which is why we've created this hosting deal - we'll give you a gigabyte of server space and install the latest version of the software for you, so you can mess about with it. It's a win-win situation: you get some free space and some support, and we get to learn from your experiences. It's only available while stocks last and it's at our discretion - we don't have a hundred servers at our disposal, alas, and if you create the next thefacebook.com we might have to talk about finding you a dedicated host. But for testing purposes we think it's a good deal and we hope you'll think so too.

Further business: the logo competition is still ongoing. You *know* you want to enter. What's the worst that could happen? From our point of view, the worst that could happen is sticking with the purple logo with the crayons. Frankly, we're sick of it.

And finally, we're looking at funding for Elgg from September onwards. We're open to all possibilities, so drop us a line if you'd like to discuss.
