The eagle-eyed among you will have spotted that Elgg v0.4 hasn't been released yet; we're working on a couple of small issues to do with the wysiwyg editor, which should be resolved shortly. It does make me wonder why there isn't a wysiwyg

There's an interesting thread about RSS plagiarism surrounding a handful of blogs at the moment. The central question is whether aggregation sites (one called Top Ten Sources in particular) that reproduce content from RSS feeds in full is a violation of copyright law. Jim Moore, of Harvard Law

There's a new standard icon for RSS feeds, adopted by both Microsoft and the Mozilla Foundation, so it'll be in Internet Explorer, Windows Vista, all new versions of Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird, and presumably a gazillion other places besides. Here's an explanatory blog post.
