Graze's election night dashboard demonstrates the power of open algorithms
"Every federal and gubernatorial race, by name and by state, read from what people are actually saying" - all powered by the open social web.

This prototype from Graze is remarkable.
Graze, of course, allows you to create new Bluesky feeds. People have created feeds for news, sports, politics — anything you like. But they’ve mostly been consumed within the Bluesky experience itself.
Its midterms dashboard is something different. Here, you can view discussion of candidate races based on the races you care about, determined by who you’re already following. Because newsrooms, pundits, and politically active individuals are posting across the network, and because the network itself is based on a permissionless protocol that is open to analysis, Graze can show you what’s happening as well as the mood of the conversation in real time.
It’s all cited, so links point to newsrooms’s own accounts and websites. And it’s genuinely live.
For someone who’s interested in the election, this is a fascinating tool. It may also be genuinely useful for newsrooms and other organizations that want to more easily have their finger on the pulse. And the fact that it’s all available openly, and built on a protocol that doesn’t require payment or permission, is huge. If this dashboard doesn’t quite meet your needs, you can build your own.
