Budders and I came to an amicable resolution. He wouldn't eat me if I gave him head wuffles. Worst guard dog ever.

@znmeb I moved for family, but it's changed my life on every level. Seismic.
@smc90 The product really is named after a perceived good year for blogging. But the tribute is a nice touch.
@smc90 (nvm, just saw he changed the image in memorial)

@erikdamato Family trumps all.
I want everyone to be welcomed and to have equal opportunities, without fear. I don't want that to sound crazy. I want it to be normal.
I don't want a militaristic society, or one that sees profit as a social good. I don't want a society that allows people to be homeless.
@jgmac1106 @ganeumann Also, infrastructure and people have value in edu; software doesn't, really. Interesting to dig into why.
@jgmac1106 @ganeumann The major issue for us was that educators don't want to pay for software. Fine, but hard to make a business that way!
@jgmac1106 For now @ganeumann is on point. Changing internal edu funding / purchasing dynamics is not an entrepreneur's job.
@jimgroom Aww, I used to live round the corner from that. Memories.
