Jesus. Carly Fiorina just ripped off the friendly facade of the debate and told their truth - and it's terrifying.

"I'm trying to bring conservative change" pretty much cuts to the core of how much content there is in this debate.

1. The keyboard is finally clear.
2. Photos have a "Selfie" folder.
3. "Find my friends" is Latitude circa 2009, no?
4. Nice font.

Merciful Zeus, they fixed the keyboard.

@aaronpk The people who care more about which language you use than what you make aren't really about making things for people at all.

Kind of hoping iOS 9 is more stable than its download / installation process.

... But Ahmed wasn't doing those things. He built a clock. Everyone, from the teachers to the police, should be fired.

I had so many friends who built devices, made explosions, mucked around with chemistry and electronics. It's how you learn.

.@evanwolf I'm blown away by the police response. "We have no idea why a kid would want to make a clock from scratch." Anti-knowledge.

If you missed it: Ahmed Mohamed, a Dallas teenager, was arrested for building a clock. This is a good summary: http://popehat.com/2015/09/16/willful-paranoia-the-classic-excuse-for-willful-paranoia-istandwithahm...

To be fair, clocks are a constant reminder of our mortality, second by second, and that *is* pretty terrifying.

I've bought two sets of cast iron pans in my life, and you'll have to pry this set from my cold, dead hands.

@LinuxJedi Ha! I had no idea. I'm not working out of that office anymore, but I'll definitely be in the city a few days next week.

@LinuxJedi My office was 50 feet away for most of the last 18 months, so I got used to that. The prices, not so much.

@anastasiaashman Yes - and UCSF is one of the foremost medical centers in the world for this. The drugs still only slow the progress.

I have some idea how you feel ...

@LinuxJedi I'd never thought about it that way. Starbucks is like the Tube! Except hopefully with less biological matter.

@LinuxJedi I don't know, seems like Four Barrel is ripe for a chibbing

Plenty of frameworks have cross-site scripting protection but fail to protect the "logging out" route, which can be abused in its own ways. Odd.

Programming thing I worked hard to get right in Known but a lot of frameworks miss: an action (eg logging out) is never a GET request.

I prefer the "hey, want to go to the pub?" thing to the "hey, want to grab a coffee?" thing. You can take the boy out of Scotland etc etc.
