Yo @Google: including latest tweets is neat, but lots of us publish independently. You should show latest posts from our feeds, too.

Office 365 is cheaper than OpenOffice. I believe it. So why isn't there an OpenOffice subscription cloud product? http://www.zdnet.com/article/huge-savings-prompt-italian-city-to-dump-openoffice-for-microsoft-after...

My first ever venture was called Spire. This one is a breathing rate tracker that tells you to meditate. Any good? http://www.spire.io/

A little proud of both LTI integration and generic file uploads for Known. First classes using them go online shortly. Fun!

Forbes has a $1m competition for under 30s who want to change the world. I'd love to see this for the over 60s. https://herox.com/Under30

I try not to have my devices out during meals at all if I'm with other people. If I'm at home there's a chance I'm streaming something to watch, which counts.
I'm on Cape Cod right now, and although I'm working, I'm downing all devices when I stop. It's making me realize how much my life is punctuated by notifications when it really doesn't need to be.

@dbounds Definitely interested. Fwiw, agree 100% with what you said then about leveraging existing social graphs.

@dbounds We don't have cross-site search yet. It's something we want to do and is needed - but need resources to pull that off.

@dbounds @obra wrote a handy "share" app for Android that loads the Known share screen. We have plans for a full app.

@dbounds I'm using a Known Firefox extension, but there's a Chrome one & a bookmarklet. All let you reply to / bookmark / share any page.

@dbounds I post every tweet (and Facebook message, Flickr photo, etc) via my Known site at http://werd.io.

@dbounds So you could use Known as a blog in itself, or you could syndicate to WordPress (or Twitter, like I'm doing right now).

@dbounds You can. Known is a simple way to publish a social stream and easily syndicate it to other software & networks.

@jgmac1106 @mhawksey Yes. Definitely need some glue to hold it all together - and if the integrations are lightweight this should work well.

@jgmac1106 @mhawksey Makes sense. We'll support it for sure, but institutions should have concerns about lock-in etc.

@jgmac1106 @mhawksey It technically could, but I think it would be better if the backbone was itself open. Google is far from that.
