Two weeks in, Project: Walk Seven Miles a Day is going well. I don't always succeed, but I feel great, & it's a good motivator to exercise.
@_pius This is what I'm thinking too. As a bonus, it forces you into an API-and-front-end MVC pattern.

If everyone builds JS one-page apps that dynamically generate HTML, nothing can be crawled easily. It's all ephemeral. Does it matter?
Observation: combination of S3 and Lambda makes it dramatically cheaper to run static JS one-page apps than standard web apps.

I'm in favor of a universal basic income, but not as a magical salary for people to make valueless things. It's a safety net.

I believe First Round's finding that women found more successful startups. Data I'd like to see: do women start them for different reasons?
Homesickness is for the unadventurous. Missing people? That's a whole other thing.
