@mattl I ... I have no idea! Happy to chat about what we're doing. If you're publishing audio episodes: probably.

@xor It's absurd. There are a million interesting things @twitter could do here - eg let people embed real text in cards.

@jf ... Actually I'd say potentially more here than in many places.

@jf Definitely a thing. Sadly, I think it's a thing just about everywhere.

@dellcam Don't replace; augment. Use your existing CMS but add an easy-to-use, mobile-first, social interface so you never have to see it.

@josephrooks Both BART and MUNI are obnoxious before and after games, so I find it's often better to hide out until the coast is clear.

@frankbonsal I'd say either; we haven't seen much innovation in parties in some time. Nuanced differentiation / positioning interests me.

Imagine you could build a new political party. What would you do differently, knowing you had to win?

@amystephen I'm not sure there's an "even" there. He's too conservative for much of the world, but our cultural landscape has been reframed.

@amystephen I'm convinced we need a new political party that reflects 21st century expectations. Not just Democrats but Representatives.

@amystephen That + ubiquitous surveillance + drones + climate change are my concerns. Still better than Paul, though.

I like this - thanks for the clear explanation!
Known has activities under the hood - the thing that actually gets displayed in your stream is a "post" activity. (If you save a new object but don't post it, it won't get shown.) Other activities, like "like" and "share", are possible, although there's no visual template for them right now.
I definitely agree that objects shouldn't be universally typed. I'm not completely convinced that activities need to be either - I might want to have a "grok" activity, for example, when I go back and mark that I've really understood a bookmarked post, but I certainly wouldn't want to force everyone else to implement that. Perhaps it's enough to have consensus on a suggested few (like "post")?
