Here's what I don't get about bigotry in tech: why is being respectful hard? Particularly when you need to empathize with users every day?
We have to believe women like @justkelly_ok, not least because they get so much shit that going public has to be a last resort.
A large part of the tech industry is imagining the future. There is no place for "old-fashioned" gender values, or bigotry of any kind.
It's never okay to comment on a colleague's body or make sexual comments at work. I don't get how people think it possibly ever could be.
