Thinking about prom for some reason. Did you go? Was it special? We did something vaguely like it at our school - a big marquee, a DJ, dancing - but I remember treating it as a joke, partially for self preservation reasons (I was a very low self esteemy teenager) and partially because it seemed very silly. I think it felt a bit too John Hughes Lite. If you went to a real one, do you have fond memories?
