Yeah, it's a tough problem. If the software knows who you are and understands where your canonical site is, it can theoretically work backwards and find the syndication reference to the silo - but it's imperfect. I'm very happy to support the indie web tech in Known, but I've switched both the citations at the bottom of the posts, and the citations in silo copies, on my own site.
