I'm a little mad at myself for spending so much of my life in one country. I had the privilege of being able to live in lots of places; I should have used it.

Living in California has broadened my perspective so much, on lots of levels. I'm sure moving another time would do so again. If you have the ability, I think living in a different place is one of the best things you can do.

Sure, you lose the comfort and familiarity - and that's exactly the point. I feel like that's probably good for you.
