If you're an open source expert who wants to help organizations open their source responsibly, let me know. I think we can do some good.
Opening device source code to scrutiny doesn't mean you lose IP rights or your ability to make money. But it makes us all safer.
We're learning we can't trust the software in our devices: VWs, other auto manufacturers, Samsung TVs. Auditable code is the only answer.

A place where carrying a tool built to murder people is a fundamental right can only be fixed by leaders who actually show leadership.
Love to the families of the 15 people tragically killed today, and the 365 other people killed in mass shootings so far this year. Horrible.
Fine, fight to keep your guns. But you have to own these atrocities. They are part of the culture you're trying to preserve.
