@natematias Was having a discussion earlier about the value of criticism (really). This makes the point well: adding context & perspective.
@natematias Completely agree. There's a power imbalance to being heard. Sometimes different parties need to be at different volumes.
The Internet is people. The web is relationships. I wish we could stop yelling at each other and just learn.
The world has always been global. People were always born equal. Our responsibility is to make our governments & businesses reflect that.
In our connected world, it's insane that we care more about fellow citizens than other fellow people. Crazy that we only care for our tribe.
The Internet gives us this incredible opportunity to connect and learn from each other. It's an amazing opportunity for peace.
"Social justice" just means "correcting  inequalities". "Political correctness" just means "being considerate". Not bad things.
We speak to people every day in other countries, with wildly different backgrounds, contexts and beliefs. We're all people. All connected.
