My Achilles heel, and why I like startups: I hate people telling me what to do. But it's also a strength. Self-direction is important to me.
My first ever boss told me, "I had to start a company. I couldn't work for anyone else."
I sometimes wonder what my life would be like if I took a corporate salary or still worked for universities. Calmer? Duller?

@AmyStephen That's alright, benerd is strangely accurate. ;)
@AmyStephen It's expected behavior - objects are (almost) always passed by reference. Whether they *should* be is another matter.
Am I going to have to be the one to introduce bacon rolls to California?
