Fundamentally, this is why I love @mattervc so much. Media and tech need to collaborate so much more deeply. They're facilitating that.
The idea that every newsroom should have to build its own platform is ludicrous. Newsrooms investigate. They make great content. Do that.
Broadcast is a technology. Newspapers are a technology. Both are obsolete. The content is still awesome, but needs to find a platform.
Google should underwrite & host C-SPAN. (Really.) Yahoo should stop mucking about and make a hard newscast. Microsoft tried, but too early.
I'm a huge fan of Medium, which has made the writing, reading and social experiences incredibly easy. As a result: amazing content.
Personal email newsletters exist because news readers stalled at Google Reader and everyone uses email. So many clunky steps with feeds.
@mkramer It's almost like they should publish them to the web instead. And maybe there could be a tool that lets you read a news feed ...
The idea of @erinjo and I easily collaborating on designs is game-changing. And, by the way, open source projects could really use this.
